WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH ME...
It's starting to cool down here as we head towards winter. Another
summer just flew by. Where did it go? Time sure is elusive isn't it.

Something exciting this year in Montreal was the introduction of the
new public bike rental system called Bixi. I just love this system.
You can grab a Bixi-bike at any one of hundreds of Bixi-stations in
the greater downtown area, peddle to your destination and then drop
the bike off at a station at that end and just go about your business.
When you're done there you can just grab another Bixi-bike at the
closest station and then head home. If you buy a pass for the season
it can be very inexpensive downtown transportation providing an
energy-saving and healthy alternative to cars, buses, and subways.

The system was such a hit here that a number of other cities in
North America have been running trial Bixi projects this summer.
Apparently Boston Mass., USA and London England, UK have
ordered the Bixi system for 2010 implementation in those cities.
