Wow! A couple of days ago was the official last day of summer!
Although, unofficially, summer is far from over yet. In fact,
earlier today I had to switch on my window A/C for a couple of
hours because it was getting so hot and humid in here.

Now that the Olympics are over and I can focus on other things
I have turned my attention to my next personal challenge --
the BIG MOVE! Yes, after 12 years living in my two bedroom
condo in central Montreal I will soon be relocating to a
smaller place in a brand new building very close to the heart
of the city.

Ever since my daughter Leela graduated from McGill and moved
to Japan to teach for a couple of years I have been rattling
around in this place wondering what to do with all of the
"stuff" I have accumulated over the years.

Well, I found the perfect solution - DOWNSIZE! The new space
I will be moving into is a little more than half the size of
this place. So, most of my "stuff" won't even fit into the
new place. I am therefore currently in the process of
disposing of it by sale and charitable donation.

Every time something goes, I feel a little bit freer! Really.
